I’m an Australian Indie Games Programmer that comes from a small town in Queensland called Gympie.
My journey started in 2008 when I enrolled into a Certificate II in Interactive Entertainment held at Gympie High State School. The course covered most aspects required to create a small game teaching us a little of everything. I enjoyed the course so much I moved onto the Certificate III the following year.
Following that, I pursued my new profession even further by moving 1,300km south to Australia’s very own Capital City, Canberra.
There, I attended the Academy of Interactive Entertainment and furthered my knowledge by studying the three year long Bachelor of Games and Virtual Worlds (Programming).
I’m currently in my third year of study and absolutely loving it.
Only time will tell where I go from here.
